Commissioning

How customisation works

Nothing here is off-the-peg, so nothing here is guesswork. Four steps, clear lead times, and a confirmed specification before any work begins.

Choose your piece & options

Browse the collections and note the options you want — leather, fabric, palette, embroidery, stone. Unsure? Tell us the occasion and we will propose options.

Send your measurements

Use the guides below — a tape measure and a friend help for garments; a foot tracing for chappals; head circumference for a pakol; ring or wrist size for silver.

We confirm the specification

Our team replies with the full specification, the quoted price and the delivery date. Work begins only once you approve every detail.

Made, checked, delivered

Your piece is made by the craftsmen, checked against your specification, and delivered to your door anywhere in the world. Duties are made clear at quotation.

Measurement guides

What to send us

You do not need to be exact to the millimetre — our tailors confirm any doubtful measurement with you. Use a soft tape measure, in centimetres.

Shalwar kameez & waskat

  • Collar (neck circumference)
  • Shoulder width (seam to seam)
  • Chest and waist (round the fullest point)
  • Sleeve length (shoulder to wrist)
  • Bicep and cuff round
  • Kameez length (shoulder to desired hem)
  • Shalwar length (waist to ankle) and waist round

Kuchi & everyday dresses

  • All kameez measurements above, plus:
  • Skirt fullness preference (gathered / A-line)
  • Dress length (shoulder to hem, worn with your shoes)
  • Sleeve style and depth of embroidered yoke

Peshawari chappals

  • Stand on paper, trace both feet, mark heel and longest toe
  • Measure tracing length and width in cm
  • Note usual shoe size (UK / EU / US) as a cross-check
  • Tell us if you prefer a wide fitting

Caps, shawls & silver

  • Pakol: head circumference, just above the ears
  • Shawls: preferred length and width (or standard sizes)
  • Pendant/choker: neck circumference
  • Cuff: wrist circumference; bangle: widest hand point

The practical details

Lead times, duties and delivery

Lead times. Tailoring and chappals take 2–4 weeks; dresses with dense embroidery 4–10 weeks; heirloom pashmina and carved furniture longest of all. Your quotation states your date, and we confirm before Eid and wedding season cut-offs.

Duties & taxes. International orders may attract import duties in your country. Your quotation makes the shipping arrangement and any duties clear before you confirm — no surprises at the door.

Payments. Commissions begin with a deposit once you approve the specification; the balance is due before dispatch. Payment methods are confirmed with your quotation.
